Treasure Coast is a troubled teen boys ranch that enrolls 50 boys, ages 12 to 17, at our residential boarding school located on 30 acres surrounded by working ranches and orchards. During the program, we emphasize character, integrity, hard work, and respect. We cultivate an environment of positive peer pressure. We give boys responsibility for work projects and special events on campus to keep them engaged in what is their home away from home. We want to see boys grow in their faith in Christ, and we offer worship, chapel services, bible studies, discipleship, retreats, and mission trip opportunities toward that end. Residents also challenge and support each other in their faith. Would any of that happen in a military school or boot camp? That’s unlikely.

The summit of the program is a breathtaking wilderness experience in the mountains of North Carolina during the last month of the boys’ residency. Whitewater rafting, hiking, camping, and other adventures show that life can be at the same time adventuresome and constructive.
While we hold individual, group, and family counseling in traditional settings, we know that most life-changing encounters tend to occur during outdoor activities and during ordinary situations. Counseling is offered frequently during the day, in all settings, through conversations with mentors during chores or recreation. We place a strong emphasis on mentorship, providing the boys with positive male role models during their residence with us.
